The creator of this armored suit had a fondness for Celtic and Norse sagas, but it was Scandinavian mythology that truly stirred his heart. The piece is named after a frost giant—a jotun—the one who abducted the goddess Idunn and her golden apples. As the craftsman himself used to say, the stalkers trade has something in common with that ancient legend. The important thing is not to dwell on the fate that befell the giant whose name it bears, but simply to wear the armor and enjoy it.
