Inkwell

An anomalous formation resembling something between a clump of earth and a tangle of roots. In fact, it appears to be of a vegetative nature, judging by the artifacts structure. The dense dark pouches, which gave the artifact its name, are indeed filled with a liquid that resembles both ink and oil simultaneously. Although the solutions composition still raises questions among researchers, the bioactive substance is being used in the development of new drugs.
